MyPortchester has gone through a transformation, we are now a registered limited company set up as a Not-for-Profit business, with all advertising fees being used to publish the community paper and run the business for the benefit of the residents of East Fareham/North Portsmouth corridor. MyPortchester is run by volunteers, has community input and contributions, and is open to ideas about what you would like to see in the paper. We are a local company, run by locals to support the local community. We are proud certified members of Social Enterprise UK.
In our area, 19% of our community is not online, and are often missing out on what's going on in the local area. Local businesses have been limited in how they are able to remind people they are there in an effort to bring people back to the local shops in our area. We are lucky to have our shopping areas supported by FREE carparks, with easy access.
MyPortchester is growing, and we want to work with the local businesses and community organisations to help ensure we all grow together. Our aim is to ensure that MyPortchester is a publication that anyone would want to pick up and read, we try to include in addition to adverts for local businesses and organisations, stories, recipes, what’s on, public interest information, puzzles and competitions.
Ours is an A4 publication, nicely printed and presented, we want to make sure that anyone who advertises with us is presented in the best possible way we can. We have our main adverts that come in various sizes from a Small 6.7cm x 4.6cm Landscape adverts upto a double A4 page spread. These adverts start from just £8 per month and includes a FREE design service, replication of adverts on our website and posted out on Social Media to all of the groups we belong to, which should be within the budget of any business.
Our full pricing matrix will give you the costings for all the larger sized adverts. All adverts (Including business card size) are paid monthly by either standing order direct from your bank, or payment schedule using a debit or credit card. The longer you commit to, the cheaper the adverts get. We simply send you an invoice each month and you choice your preferred payment method, easy!
